\u3000Experience Seminar<\/strong>\u3000<\/mark>

Since 2006, we have been working on a \"University-wide Experiential Seminar\" for students of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo. With the theme of \"Seeing invisible atomic nuclei and elementary particles,\" we are working on a curriculum that emphasizes practical training, such as assembling cutting-edge detectors and measure cosmic rays by the students themselves. The aim is to foster interest in the physics of atomic nuclei and elementary particles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students' experiments<\/mark><\/strong>
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the student experiments offered to the third-grade students in the Department of Physics, \"nuclear scattering\" has been conducted using CNS equipment such as CRIB since 2002. This is a valuable opportunity for undergraduate students to experience accelerators and large experimental equipment that is not seen in the daily life, assisted by the CNS staff and graduate students, together with the professors in the nuclear-experiment group at the Hongo Campus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
