What are they for?

Presently Raspberry PIs are used for controlling some modules, in particular, Mesytec modules.

IP: 192.168.1.15

for MSCF modules.

-E7

IP: 192.168.1.17

for MHV-4 modules.

How to login

J1:

 ssh pi@192.168.1.15  password: C*******

E7:

 ssh pi@192.168.1.17  password: o*******

MHV-4

MHV4 Monitor is available.

MSCF-16

Server side:

cd mesycontrol-server-raspbian10-1.0.6.1/
./mesycontrol_server --mrc-serial-port /dev/ttyUSB0

The newer version (1.1.0) may not work.

Client side:

Run mesycontrol_gui.exe (Windows executable). CRIB Macmini has Wine to execute it.

Add MRC Mesycontrol Server (remote) Server: 192.168.1.15 Port: 23000

Reinstalling the system

Sometimes the microSD card can be damaged by neutron radiation, and the system does not work correctly. In that case, we should reinstall ihe system in the microSD card. (Details will be described here later.)
