Nuclear matter with enormous numbers of nucleons gathered is thought to be realized in neutron stars. Equation of state and components of nuclear matter still remain an attractive subject. We are developing cutting-edge detector system called active target which enables us to measure many reactions at the same time. We are approaching the mystery of strong interaction through the experimental study of breathing mode and nucleon correlation in short-lived nuclei relating to the nature and structure of nuclear matter using active target system.
