Recent measurements of reaction cross section and related topics

Recent experiments concerning reaction cross sections are reviewed. The
cross sections were recently measured by a transmission method using RIPS in
RIKEN and RIBLL in IMP.
As related topics, development of energy dependence of Glauber model is
introduced. By using the model, the effective density distributions can be
deduced. Recent measurements in RIPS concerning momentum distributions of
fragments are also introduced.
