Nuclear theory
A nucleus is a quantum many-body system consistiyng of protons and neutrons. We, nuclear thery group, study the nuclear structure theoretically utilizing large-scale shell-model calculations aiming at the elucidation of the exotic structure of neutron-rich nuclei and its interdisciplinary applications. In parallel, we investigate numerical approaches to quantum many-body systems and develop the software to utilize high-performance computing efficiently.
